Elsewhere (at the Monash Uni student bar) I'd seen the original beer ads featuring this guy (you can see it at the back of this picture), who was apparently somebody called Sam Knott, up near Warburton (where they now have the Sam Knott Pub...one of my cousins had a wedding there early in 2001).
If you'd like to copy these pictures for something or other, please ask. I won't bite.
